How to put together a show stopping fall planter.
As temperatures begin to fall and the days shorten, we hope to fall and all the beautiful decoration this season requires. This includes autumn floral arrangements both indoors and outdoors. Autumn planters, in particular, are an excellent way of dressing their home for the beginning of a new season, and can incorporate elements such as seasonal flowers, plants and other contemporary motifs in their landscaping. Go ahead on how to cure yours.
1. Mix and combine
Seasonal decoration is only exhibited for such a short time, so the life -style expert Jaclyn James, founder of Jaclyn James Co, encourages buyers to have fun and choose plants they love. “It’s a good time to try new tensions and mix striking colors,” she explains. To build her own autumn planter, James points out that she cannot be wrong with traditional mothers and calendules, while she adds unexpected plants such as ornamental curly or red begonias to add different colors and textures.
“I add pumpkins or pumpkins around or near the base of the pot or my autumn exhibition to really give life to the autumn mood,” she shares. Is a good general rule? Prioritize variety of size: the highest mothers must be placed at the back; Plants similar to the vine belong to the sides and around the outer edges; and filling plants (such as calendulas) must be placed in empty spaces.
